Valley Inn - San Fernando

A wide array of goodies for breakfast.

We were upgraded to king room with double beds on check in. The location was marvellous and unbeatable, not too far from Museum. The hotel itself was in a great area, close to LA area, the Sanfernando valley, and restaurants.

the amount of insects noted in the room during the stay and that the bathroom bathtub faucet would not shut off entirely.

Would recommend for strolling

Clean room, friendly staff, with excellent breakfast options like DIY waffles and great coffee to start your day right. Convenient amenities like free parking and 24-hour reception to enhance your stay.

Nice, big pool area and garden. Good value for money and convenient location close to the freeways.

The carpet felt dirty

Its location was continent to our trip because we wanted to visit both Six Flags and Universal Hollywood. Their free breakfast as okay as well. Other than that, nothing was good about it.

The room was filthy, and the bed sheets were beyond what you'd call dirty. We bought sanitizing wipes for the bathroom to clean it ourselves! Their "free internet" does not work. You can easily hear the neighbors which was very annoying. In short, don't go there!

Booked a room with delightful views of palm trees.

The staff - some of them were arrogant.

The sliding glass door allowed direct access to the pool, nice.

The room smelled bad, and the carpet was dirty, with mold around the bathtub.

Charming, Charming, Charming

The lush garden surrounding the large pool created a relaxing oasis where I could unwind. Plus, the private balcony overlooking the pool was an absolute bonus for enjoying my morning coffee!

We explored the Getty Center and the Los Angeles Zoo, both just a short drive away. The location is solid, close to cool spots for food and fun, and the vibe was perfect for our group. Just a heads up, I'd suggest checking in early if you can.

One downside was the shower drain. It was sluggish, leaving us with a bit of standing water. Not the best when you're trying to refresh after a day out.

Decent room size but don't expect the Ritz. They do have a breakfast with some options, which is a plus.

During my recent trip to san fernando, i was actually surprised by my stay. The room was tidy and had easy access to the pool area. Taking strolls around the courtyard added a nice touch to the experience.

So, we stayed there for 9 nights, and honestly, it was rough. The room was super hot and took forever to cool down. Plus, the bed? Reminded me of an ancient torture device. On the bright side, the wifi was fast and the breakfast had decent cereal options. But seriously, just find another place before wasting your time here.

The staff were attentive and efficiently assisted in my requests. And reliable Wi-Fi allowed me to stay connected and productive throughout my stay.

No major issues, but the breakfast options could be more varied.
